I am Josue Ortiz, your new photographer!

Born and raised in Tamaulipas, Mexico, I moved to Georgia when I was 15 years old. Since then, my wife & I have settled down in Chickamauga Ga, where I spend my time tending to the farm & working on the honey-to-do list. Our 25 chickens, 5 goats, 2 dogs & 2 cats (and counting…) keep us very busy!

By trade, I am a Mechanical Engineer. In my free time, I enjoy photographing landscapes, wildlife, portraits & rodeos. I focus on a documentary style of photography where I specialize in telling the stories of everyday life.

My photos tell stories. No pretending. No perfect poses. Just the character of real people, real places, and real emotion.
